“ We are staying in 5* All inclusive and in Prague visiting fine dininig…but here - YOU MUST GO HERE AND GIVE A TRY! It was the best meal I had in Lanzarote (amazing cod fish), husband’s entrêcote with canarian potatoes was great prepared and the pepper sauce was just amazing! It doesn’t look so fancy and nice but I promise, it is very occupied and such a warm family place! You will feel like at your grandma’s home. The owner Pablo does it with his heart and waiter Gabriele was ready to fulfill your every wish. Thank you ”
“ Called in without making a reservation and was speedily accommodated as we didn't mind being on the balcony, Pablo was very welcoming and is a very funny gentleman who kept us laughing each of the many times he came to check on us. I opted for the goose Magret and my partner had the steak pieces and both were sublime! I had rice pudding for dessert just like Nanna used to make... I thoroughly recommend dining at this hidden gem! ”
“ We had an amazing dinner, Pedro the owner is just a wonderful host and creates a fantastic atmosphere and makes you feel very welcome , like you are visiting an old friend. The salads are great and the meat is grilled perfectly, we had a mixed grill, can highly recommend. If you are driving past Macher or go out of your way and head over from Playa or Puerto you will not be disappointed. ”
“ We just happened to be staying in a Villa opposite this place and my, my what a stroke of luck. The food was fantastic! There is a pork dish with a localised sauce which is probably some of the best food I have ever eaten. Even the chips are home made genuine potatoe in all shapes and sizes. Everyone I attended with vouched for how nice this place is. If you're staying on or around the Puerto del Carmen strip this place is probably a 10 minute drive or roughly 12 euro in a taxi away, but I assure you it is worth it. Shout out also to the waiter/owner who looked after us. He was extremely friendly and fitted in a large group on short notice when we attended the second time. ”

Pablo was the perfect host, the atmosphere was great and the food was amazing. We had the Iberian Pork with a beautiful sauce and it was perfectly tender and delicious. Desserts afterwards were also amazing. This was probably the best meal we have had in all our years coming to Lanzarote, and when the bill arrived we were very surprised at how reasonable it was. We have already booked again for later in the week. I highly recommend a visit if you are anywhere near Macher. ”
